RICHFIELD WENT UP AGAINST ST. THOMAS ACADEMY IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Richfield and St. Thomas Academy squared off in a boys’ basketball game. The score went back and forth early. Neither team went on a run early. 

Richfield pushed the ball down the floor and could come up with mid-range jump shots and layups. 

Richfield used their quickness to get past the St. Thomas defense. St. Thomas used mostly a zone defense in the first half. They did switch between man-to-man throughout the half though. 

St. Thomas struggled to score late in the first half.

At halftime, the score was Richfield 37, St. Thomas 31. 

As the second half got underway St. Thomas came out pushing the ball down the floor and came up with layups and mid-range jump shots.

The game was close throughout the second half. St. Thomas got everyone involved in the offense. They took the lead late in regulation.

St. Thomas came away with the 72-66 victory over Richfield.
