ALL IOWA ATTACK TOOK ON GRASSROOTS CANADA ELITE IN THE 17U DIVISION

In the second day of the 2010 Pump N Run Best Buy Tournament Grassroots Canada took on All Iowa Attack. Grassroots Canada was able to get an early lead as they came down and made jump shots early in the contest.

Grassroots Canada looked for Courtney Dawkins to run the offense. He knew where his team was supposed to be on the court. He was able to get his teammates involved in the play.

All Iowa Attack looked to push the ball up the court in transition. They wanted to try to score in transition.
Grassroots Canada went on a run midway through the first half. They were able to shut down All Iowa Attack in the first half. Grassroots Canada looked to trap the ball in the corners. They were able to frustrate All Iowa Attack.

Grassroots used both man-to-man defense as well as a zone defense in the first half. They wanted to try to catch All Iowa Attack off guard.

At halftime the score was Grassroots Canada 36 and All Iowa Attack 29.

As the second half got underway both teams continued to battle. Both teams were playing really aggressively.

In a game that got off to a fast start Grassroots Canada was able to come away with the 67-53 victory over All Iowa Attack.
