Grant Daniel Kellogg is from Wadena, MN. He was born on February 10, 1995. Grant is very involved in sports. His dad played football at St. Cloud State University. He has a brother Cohen who is 6 and a sister Haley who is 16.
This summer he is playing AAU basketball for the Howard Pulley Panthers which is based out of the Minneapolis area.
He grew up in small town Wadena and plans to move to Edina in August. Living in Wadena is about 3 hours away from Columbia Heights where he practices for Howard Pulley. On Tuesday and Thursday one of his parents would have to leave at 2:30 from school and drive all the way to practice. Everyone thought he was crazy for doing that, but that is just how much he loves the game of basketball.
He plays basketball every day, sometimes all day. Grant works very hard on his game every day and loves watching the game. He always has a basketball with him, at school, beach, and everywhere. To work on his dribbling skills he dribbles a tennis ball around school every day. Grant is playing for Howard Pulley 15u. This summer he plans on working on his game every day and lifting weights. He thinks that Pulley has been good for exposure and competition.
Grant went to Wadena-Deer Creek up until 9th grade. He had a lot of varsity minutes. This year he is going to be going to Benilde - St. Margaret’s.
Grant loves to play basketball. His family has a cabin in Walker, MN that he spends a lot of time at in the summer.
He is hoping to go to the next level in basketball and play Division I basketball. He is a point guard. Grant’s favorite teams are Duke Blue Devils, Minnesota Gophers and Phoenix Suns.
