SABES FOUNDATION TOOK ON EL-AMIN FISH HOUSE IN THE HOWARD PULLEY JUNE MILLER PLAYOFFS

The El-Amin Fish House took on Sabes Foundation in the playoffs of the June Miller summer league. El-Amin Fish House got off to a quick 8-4 lead to open up the game.

Both teams looked to push the ball up the court early in the contest. Both teams got hot midway through the first quarter.

Devron Bostick made some nice moves around the basket and was able to score some easy baskets in the first quarter for the Fish House team. On the defensive end he was able to control his man who he was guarding.

The game went back and forth throughout the first quarter. Both teams looked to get the ball out and push the pace in the quarter.

At the end of the first quarter the score was El-Amin Fish House 28 and Sabes Foundation 24

As the second quarter got underway both teams came out swinging. Jake Tomas was able to step up and knock down some midway jumpers.

The El-Amin Fish House went on a run midway through the second quarter. Devron Bostick stepped up and was able to keep knocking down shots throughout the fish half. His teammates were able to get him the ball on the court and he came up big.

David Hicks found his jump shot midway through the second quarter. He was able to hit a mid range jump shot with ease.

Jake Thomas and DeAndre Townsend hooked up for a couple of nice plays in the first half. Jake was able to feed DeAndre on a nice break away lay ups.

At halftime the score was Sabes Foundation 50 El-Amin Fish House 62.

As the third quarter got underway both teams continued to go after each other. Rodney Williams put on a dunking show as he was able to throw down some nice slam dunks throughout the game.

Dan Coleman kept on making shots from three point land.

At the end of the third quarter the score was El-Amin Fish House 83 and Sabes Foundation 69.

The fourth quarter the El-Amin Fish House continued to make shots. Rodney Williams kept Sabes Foundation in the in the contest. He shared the ball on the offensive end. He was not afraid to pass up an open shot if another teammate had a better shot.

Sabes Foundation didn’t give up. They were able to go on a run in the fourth quarter. Both teams stepped up the intensity late in the quarter.

The El-Amin Fish House came away with the 113-105 victory over Sabes Foundation.
