THE ERROL CARLSTROM PLAYAZ TOOK ON EL-AMIN FISH HOUSE IN THE 2010 HOWARD PULLEY JUNE MILLER LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

The Errol Carlstrom Playaz took on El-Amin Fish House in the playoffs. The Playaz looked to get Trevor Mbakwe the ball in the low post early on in the game.

Both teams started off the game trading baskets. They both were trading baskets early on in the game.

Devron Bostick who attends the University of Minnesota and who plays for the Fish House was able to make some nice shots early on in the game.

The score went back and forth throughout the first quarter. Neither team was able to go on a run.

PJ Hill for the Fish House came in and was able to knock down some shots from way behind the three point line. He was dead on. Hill ran the Fish House offense. He knew where his players were supposed to be on the court and was able to get his teammates involved in the offense. On the defensive end Hill was able to shut down his defender.

The first quarter was very close. Neither team was able to go on a run. At the end of the quarter the score was the Errol Carlstrom Playaz 24 and El-Amin Fish House 21.

As the second quarter got underway PJ Hill, who played at Ohio State University, came out and really put on a show. He was able to blow past his defenders every time he got the ball.

Dan Coleman and Royce White found chemistry on the court. They were able to hook up for some good plays on the offensive end. Coleman would get the ball to White who would go up for the ally-oop.

The game was close throughout the first half. Just as the Fish House was trying to go on a run the Playaz stepped up on the defense and was able to slow the Fish House down.

DeAndre Townsend for the Fish House was able to find the basket in the first half. He had some nice shots. Whether he was shooting three pointers or he was dribbling through his defenders Townsend was all over the court.

The El-Amin Fish House went on a run to close out the third quarter.

At halftime the score was El-Amin Fish House 51 and Errol Carlstrom Playaz 42.

As the third quarter got underway both teams came out swinging. Devron Bostic had a few monstrous slam dunks. He is a prolific scorer and he knows what to do with the ball.

The Errol Carlstrom Playaz didn’t give up playing on both ends of the court. They kept on battling throughout the third quarter. They didn’t get down on themselves either they just kept on playing. The Errol Carlstrom Playaz applied half court pressure throughout the game and that didn’t seem to bother El-Amin Fish House.

The Errol Carlstrom Playaz went on a run midway through the third quarter. They were able to make the shots that they were putting up. The El-Amin Fish House went cold to end the third quarter.

At the end of the third quarter the score was El-Amin Fish House 69 and Errol Carlstrom Playaz 68.

The El-Amin Fish House continued to look to push the ball in the fourth quarter as both teams looked to chew time off the clock to open the quarter up. They were able to keep the run that they started at the end of the third quarter and continued it into the fourth.

DeAndre Townsend continued to come up big in the fourth quarter as he was able to blow past his defenders and make baskets.

The game remained close throughout the fourth quarter. Neither team was able to go on a run in the fourth quarter.

The score was tied at 81 with 2:30 in the fourth quarter.

Both teams scored on their trips down the court. Then the Fish House went on a run and the Errol Carlstrom Playaz was not able to counter.

Both teams played very hard and the game came down to the wire. In the end the El-Amin Fish
House came away with the 94-89 victory over the Errol Carlstrom Playaz.
