IT’S PLAYOFF TIME IN THE JUNE MILLER PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

The regular season is over and the playoffs are here. In the first playoff game Errol Carlstrom Playaz took on June Miller Time.

The Errol Carlstrom Playaz was able to get an early 13-8 lead to begin the game. They were a little quicker than June Miller Time to begin the game.

The Errol Carlstrom Playaz were looking to get the ball into 6’8” forward Trevor Mbakwe’s hands. Trevor was able to use a nice little jump shot in the bottom of the key to score most of his points.

Steve Esselink found his shot late in the first half. He was right on from behind the three point line. He was consistently able to drain three point shots with a defender in his face.

At the end of the first quarter the score was Errol Carlstrom Playaz 30 and JM Time 10.

As the second quarter got underway the intensity by both teams was very high. Both teams dove on the floor.

Both teams really did a good job of pushing the ball up the court. Both teams wanted to push set the tempo.

At halftime the score was Errol Carlstrom Playaz 50 and JM Time 26.

As the third quarter got underway Errol Carlsrrom Playaz really took off. They were able to make their shots with ease.

JM Time looked to get Joe Coleman the ball. Joe was able to knock down shots with ease all night. He played really well. On the defensive end he was able to lock down his opponents.

At the end of the third quarter the score was Errol Carlstrom Playaz 81 and JM Time 52.

Both teams continued to play hard. The Errol Carlstrom Playaz was able to control the tempo of the game. They were able to control the ball.

In a game that went back and forth. The Errol Carlstrom Playaz came away with the 115-75 victory over JM Time.
