ROCHESTER CENTURY TOOK ON WOODBURY IN A BOYS BASKETBALL GAME

In the second game of the day, Rochester Century went up against Woodbury. Woodbury moved the ball well down the floor.
 
Century had a hard time hitting shots in the first half.  Even though they were not able to hit shots that they took.
 
Century trailed 15-4 when they called a timeout with 12:26 left in the first half.
 
Century attacked the basket as they looked to get their shot to drop midway through the first half.  
 
Woodbury continued to make shots that they put up. They were able to dribble by the Century defenders and get to the basket.
 
Both teams played with a lot of passion and energy on the floor. Woodbury didn’t give up many open shots. They were able to clamp down on the defensive end.  
 
Woodbury’s Matt Ambriz was able to step up and knock down jump shots for his team. His teammates did a good job of feeding him the ball within the three-point line as he was able to knock down shots from there.
 
The Woodbury defense was relentless, it was able to frustrate Century on offense in the first half.  
 
At halftime the score was Woodbury 35, Century 18.
 
Century’s Ben Farley did a good job of getting his team involved in the offense. If Farley thought that he had a good shot he was not afraid to shoot the ball from anywhere on the court.
 
Woodbury continued to move the ball down the floor well and shot it well.
 
Century didn’t give up as they kept on looking for shots that they thought that they could make.  
 
Ambriz continued to shoot the ball well. He knocked down some big three-point shots in the contest.
 
Woodbury’s offense was way too powerful for Century. The Woodbury defense was able to slow down the Century offense.
 
In a game that had a large lead from the beginning Woodbury. came away with the 77-57 victory over Century.
 
The leading scorer for Woodbury was Ambritz with 25 points. The leading scorer for Century was Ben Farley with 12 points.
