On Oct. 10 Fort Lauderdale and Minnesota United went up against each other in a soccer game.
In the 6th minute Minnesota’s Pablo Campos found the back of the net as he scored a goal.
With Campos goal that made the score Minnesota 1, Fort Lauderdale 0.
Minnesota did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense.
Minnesota got on the board again in the 27th minute on a goal by Daniel Mendes.
With that goal that score was Minnesota 2, Fort Lauderdale 0.
Fort Lauderdale had difficulty moving the ball down the field throughout the first half. The defensive pressure that Minnesota applied frustrated Fort Lauderdale.
At halftime the score was Minnesota 2, Fort Lauderdale 0.
As the second half got under way Minnesota continued to move the ball down the field and get everyone involved in the offense.
Minnesota was quicker down the field as they were getting to the ball. Fort Lauderdale had a difficult time moving the ball down the field.
Fort Lauderdale got a goal by PC in the 78th minute.
With that goal that made the score Minnesota 2, Fort Lauderdale 1.
It was a very evenly matched game. In the end Minnesota came away with the 2-1 victory over Fort Lauderdale.
After the game Minnesota United head coach Manny Lagos talked about the game. Also Campos talked about the game.
The attendance of the game was 9,207.
