LAKEVILLE NORTH AND ST. PAUL JOHNSON SQUARED OFF IN A BASKETBALL GAME

On Oct. 25 it was another session at the Minnetonka boys basketball fall league.

Lakeville North and St. Paul Johnson went up against each other in a Minnetonka fall league basketball game.

Both teams pushed the ball down the floor and looked for layups. Lakeville North did a good job of swinging the ball around the 3-point line as they were able to get everyone involved in the offense.

Neither team went on a run in the first half. There were many ties and lead changes throughout the first half.

Lakeville North looked to make fast break layups off of turnovers.

Lakeville North was able to make deep 3-point baskets. If they didn’t think that they could hit the deep shot they would try layups.

At halftime the score was Lakeville North 30, St. Paul Johnson 22.

Lakeville North started the second half in a zone defense. They wanted to make St. Paul Johnson shoot deep three-point shots which they did.

The defensive pressure that Lakeville North applied didn’t allow St. Paul Johnson to make uncontested shots.

Lakeville North came away with the 59-49 victory over St. Paul Johnson.
