Osseo started the game in
a zone defense. Osseo guard Allan Anderson was all over the floor. On the
defensive end Anderson came up with steals and turned them into points on the
offensive end.
Minnetonka couldn’t get
their offense going. They struggled to make shots that they took.
Osseo was able to make
3-point baskets in the first half. Osseo got the ball into Anderson’s hands.
Minnetonka looked
sluggish on the floor. Osseo was quicker than Minnetonka they got to the ball
quicker and got down the floor quicker.
Osseo had a 41-33 lead at
half time.
As the second half got underway
Osseo continued to make baskets in transition.
Minnetonka couldn’t hit
shots that they were putting up throughout the game. Osseo used their quickness
to their advantage as they came up with easy baskets.
Even though Minnetonka
had a tough time scoring, they kept on attacking the basket and going after
loose balls.
Osseo came away with the 93-71
victory over Minnetonka Blue.
