MOUNDS VIEW WENT UP AGAINST EDINA IN A ROUND OF 32 FOOTBALL GAME

Mounds View and Edina went up against each other in a Round of 32 football game. Mounds View kicked off to start the game. 

Edina took over on their own 23-yard line. Edina used both the running and passing attack on their first drive. Edina’s Doma Morris came up with a short run for a first down. The Edina offense stalled out and they had to punt on 4th-and-3 they faked the punt and ran a running play but the defense stepped up.

Mounds View took over on their 41-yard line. They were not able to come up with a first down and they punted. 

Edina took over on their own 14-yard line. Edina’s Brock Boltmann looked to get the ball into his hands and was able to get past the defenders. Boltmann came up with a 27-yard touchdown pass to Julien Ramboz who came up with reception. The extra-point attempt was good.

With 3:19 left in the first quarter the score was Edina 7, Mounds View 0.

Mounds View took over on their own 37-yard line. Mounds View was picked off by Pema Lhewa. Edina couldn’t move the ball and they punted on 4th-and-5. 

Mounds View took over on their own 29-yard line. 

After one quarter of play the score was Edina 7, Mounds View 0.

The Edina defense stepped up big as they slowed down the Mounds View offense. Mounds View punted on 4-and-13.

Edina took over on their own 32-yard line. Boltmann was able to get the ball to his teammates as he knew where they were on the field. On 4th-and-12 Edina punted the ball. 

Mounds View looked to try to confuse the Edina defense. The Edina defense came up with some big plays that slowed down the Mounds View offense. Mounds View’s Luke Swenson came up with a 2 yard reception that resulted in a touchdown. The extra-point attempt was no good.

With 53.3 seconds left in the second quarter the score was Edina 7, Mounds View 6.

Edina fumbled the ball and Mounds View recovered the ball. Mounds View looked to keep the ball on the ground. Edina’s Pericles Angelos came up with an interception. 

At halftime the score was Edina 7, Mounds View 6. 

Edina kicked off to start the third quarter. Mounds View couldn’t move the ball down the field and they had to punt the ball on 4th-and -9.

Edina couldn’t move the ball down the field and they had to punt on 4th-and-14.

Mounds View’s offense stalled out and they punted on 4th-and -16.

Edina called a timeout with 4:42 on the clock; the score was Edina 7, Mounds View 6.


Edina’s Parker Rickert came up with a 32-yard reception. Evan Holm came up with a huge reception that brought the ball to the 8-yard line. 

After three quarters of play the score Edina 7, Mounds View 6.

On fourth and goal and they were not able to come up with a first down.

Mounds View took over on the 4-yard line. Mounds View didn’t move the ball down the field and on 4th-and-5 they punted. 

Edina took over on the 15-yard line. Rickert came up with a 25-yard reception. 

Holm came up with a 44 yard touchdown. The extra point attempt was good.

With 3:37 left in the fourth quarter the score was Edina 14, Mounds View 6.

Mounds View took over on their own 45-yard line. Mounds View turned the ball over on downs. 

Edina looked to take time off the clock late in the fourth quarter. 

Mounds View took over for one last chance with 1:38 left in the game. Holm intercepted the ball and scored on a 58-yard run. The extra point attempt was good.

That made the score 21-6; that was the final of the game.
