Wayzata and Armstrong went up against each other in a basketball game. Armstrong looked to move the ball down the floor and score baskets in transition early.
Armstrong got everyone involved in the offense. They did good job of passing the ball to each other and talking on the floor.
Armstrong played zone on the defensive end. They looked to make Wayzata shoot deep shoots.
There were many ties and lead changes throughout the first half.
At halftime the score was Wayzata 33, Armstrong 23.
Armstrong continued to play zone defense. Wayzata took a lot of time off the clock against the zone defense.
Armstrong wasn’t as quick as they were in the second half. Wayzata was able to get past them and make layups.
Armstrong struggled to shoot the ball throughout the second half. Wayzata kept the offensive pressure on.
In a game that was sloppy by both teams Wayzata came away with the 59-46 victory over Armstrong.
