ST. CLOUD TECH WENT UP AGAINST PARK CENTER IN THE STATE SOCCER QUARTERFINALS

St. Cloud Tech and Park Center squared off in a boys state soccer game at Farmington High School.
 
It was a crisp and cool night with a light rain fans braved the elements to watch the game.
 
As the game got underway it took a very physical. There was a lot of jostling for the ball.  
 
St. Cloud Tech did a good job of getting the ball to everyone on the field.
 
Both teams seemed to keep the ball in the middle of the field.
 
In a very well-played half the score at halftime was tied at 0.
 
As the second half got underway both teams continued to move the ball down the field and get the ball into the net.
 
St. Cloud Tech’s Mohamed Adbi scored a goal with 11:00 left in regulation.
 
With that goal that made the score St. Cloud Tech 1, Park Center 0.
 
Both teams played hard throughout the game. Park Center didn’t give up.
 
St. Cloud Tech’s Mohamud Aden scored a goal with 2:18 left in the second half.
 
With that goal that made the score St. Cloud Tech 2, Park Center 0.
 
St. Cloud Tech came away with 2-0 victory over Park Center.
 
St. Cloud Tech advances to the state semifinals.
