ADRIAN TOOK ON FOSSTON IN THE CLASS A SEMI FINAL GAME IN THE MINNESOTA STATE HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE

Adrian took on Fosston in the Class A semi-final football game. Adrian scored the first touchdown on a Brett Nowothy 10-yard run. Adam Diekmann’s kick was good.

With that touchdown the score was Adrian 7 and Fosston 0.

With 1:05 left in the first quarter Fosston got on the scoreboard with a Jake Juve rushing touchdown. Steven Lyseng made the extra point for Fosston.

At the end of the first quarter the score was tied at 7.

Fosston threatened to score midway through the second quarter. Both teams used the pass and the run early on in the game.

Adrian was looking to score late in the second quarter. Adrian was able to find the end zone with Kyle Kilgore’s snagging a catch for the touchdown. The extra point was good. With that touchdown the score was Adrian 14 and Fosston 7.

At the half the score was Adrian 14 and Fosston 7.

Adrian kicked off to Fosston to begin the third quarter. Fosston wanted to come out and score early.

Both teams kept the ball on the ground for most of the third quarter.

Neither team was able to find the end zone in the third quarter. At the end of the third quarter the score remained 14-7 in favor of Adrian.

Adrian was on the attack again but came up short early in the fourth quarter.

Adrian was able to come away with the 14-7 victory over Austin. I was able to talk to Adrian players Kyle Kilgro, Brett Nowotny and the head coach Randy Strand.
