Benilde St. Margaret's High School took on Patrick Henry in a match up in the Minnetonka Fall Basketball League. Both of these teams got out to a quick scoring start as they were able to make their shots.
Both teams traded baskets in the early goings of the game. Peter James Crawford for Benilde St. Margaret's came off the bench and really played hard. He went after loose balls. He was able to find his shot in the early goings. He was able to make free throws. He played aggressively on the defensive end.
The game was close throughout. Neither team was able to go on a run in the first half. Henry looked to push the ball up the court. They wanted to score in transition.
Henry was able to go on a run late in the first half. They really executed their offense and they were able to get the ball to drop. They were really playing with a lot of emotion. Benilde St. Margaret’s didn’t give in. They too were playing hard but their shots were not falling towards the end of the first half.
At half time the score was Patrick Henry 37 and Benilde St. Margaret's 28.
Henry went on a run to open the second half. Benilde came out of the break just cold. They couldn’t make a shot and they were turning the ball over to begin the second half.
Benilde didn’t give up they kept on playing hard. The Henry players were playing with a lot of emotion and energy.
Peter James Crawford continued to play strong throughout the second half. He really did a good job of going after loose balls and he continued to look for his shot on the offensive end.
Henry continued to play well in the second half. They were able to cruse to an 88-55 victory over Benilde St. Margaret’s.
