CLASS A THIRD PLACE GAME TOTINO GRACE WENT UP AGAINST SIMLEY

In the Class A Minnesota State High School League third place soccer game Totino Grace went up against Simley. On the first kick of the game Totino Grace’s Paul Yonga had the first goal of the game to make the score Totino Grace 1 and Simley 0.

Both of these teams really got after it in the first half. After that quick goal both teams played very solid. They were really trying to get the ball.

At the end if the first half the score was Totino Grace 1 and Simley 0.

As the second half got underway both teams came out ready to play. They each wanted to win the game. They both wanted to score early in the second half.

With 18:31 Jack Kessler scored a goal for Simley. Ben Royce got the assist.

After that goal the score was tied at 1.

The game ended in a 1-1 tie. Both teams were awarded third place.

I was able to talk to both head coaches William Vance from Totino-Grace and Nole Quinn for Simley.
