It is the third week of the Minnetonka fall boy’s basketball league. In the first game of the day it was Wayzata against Benilde-St. Margaret's. Both teams got off to good starts, as they were each able to get their shots in early.
Neither team was able to go on a scoring run early in the first half. Peter James Crawford for Benilde-St.Margaret’s really played well in the first half. He made some nice moves around the basket. He really played aggressive on both ends of the court.
At the half the score was Wayzata 46 and Benilde-St. Margaret’s 48.
Wayzata came out and played tough half court defense to start the second half. They did a good job of talking and calling out screens.
Peter James Crawford had some really nice rebounds in the second half. He really did a good job on both ends of the court.
Both of these teams played hard and aggressive. This game was close throughout. Neither team was able to go on a run. Both teams defended well. There were not many guys for either team getting free looks at the basket.
The lead went back and forth between these two teams. Neither team was going to give up. They kept playing hard and the score went back and forth between the two teams.
Benilde-St.Margaret’s was able to come away with the 87-75 victory over Wayzata.
