NORTHFIELD TOOK ON APPLE VALLEY IN CLASS AA STATE SOCCER SEMI FINAL ACTION

Tom Obarski lit up the scoreboard early for Apple Valley as he scored the first goal of the game. Apple Valley’s Bijan Jabari scored Apple Valley’s second goal.

Both teams played very well throughout the first half.

Northfield’s Caleb Yurek scored a goal midway through the first half. Both teams looked to attack the goal throughout the first.

At halftime the score was Apple Valley 2 and Northfield 1. Both of these teams did a good job of getting the ball up the field.

The second half started out with a bang as each team really dug in and played hard. With 33:34 remaining in the second half Apple Valley’s David Rosenthal scored a goal, assisted by Stephen Johnson. After that goal the score was Apple Valley 3 and Northfield 1.

Northfield’s Aaron Stets scored a goal as Adam Hadro assisted the goal. After that goal the score was Apple Valley 3 and Northfield 2.
