Minneapolis Patrick Henry took on Hopkins in the Minnetonka fall league. Both teams looked to push the ball up the court quickly to begin the game.
Henry came out wanting to put a lot of pressure on Hopkins from the beginning. Henry was able to sink some shots early on and kept up with Hopkins at the beginning of the game.
Throughout the first half the game was very close. Neither team was able to go on a run early on. Henry tried a three quarter press late in the first half. That worked well. That press was bothersome to Hopkins. They were not able to do what they wanted to do with the ball. Hopkins was still getting the shots off that they wanted. It was just taking them a bit longer than they wanted.
Hopkins used a motion offense in the second half. They did a lot of passing and cutting. They wanted to get good looks at the basket.
Both teams played well but in the end Hopkins came away with the 120-107 victory.
