I was able to talk to Broderick Raedale Mack Williams. He is currently playing football and going to school at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. This was an email interview that I did in March of 2010.
Broderick was born in Houston Texas. He was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and started playing sports in the 7th grade. He started playing football at Fowell Park.
Broderick has always wanted to win. He wanted to win because it irked him if he lost. As he got into organized football when he was 12, it was starting to get real. He lost the championship his first year it wasn’t so bad. Then after they lost the second time to the same team the next year then he knew then he couldn’t accept to lose.
He went to Lincoln Middle School, Ascension Academy his sophomore year, and then finished at Minneapolis De LaSalle. He is currently attending the University of Minnesota, Crookston. For Broderick, playing sports is fun and he plays for the love of the game.
His dad has taught him a lot about sports development. He has also worked with personal trainers.
In addition to sports, Broderick likes to make music in his free time. He also wants to keep getting better on the football field.
