DeLaSalle looked to move the ball down the floor and score baskets in transition. They did a god job of getting everyone the ball on the floor.
CDH went on a 7-0 run with 13 minutes in the first half.
CDH’s Jackie Radford came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half. Her teammates did a good job of getting her the ball in spots where she could shoot it.
There were several ties and lead changes in the first half. After CDH initial run.
CDH called a timeout with 6:08 left in the first half. The score was DeLaSalle 15, CDH 14.
CDH’s Autam Mendez made mid-range jump shots as she did a good job of calling for the ball when she was open.
DeLaSalle struggled to shoot the ball late in the first half. CDH was able to capitalize on the DeLaSalle missed shots.
At halftime the score was CDH 30, DeLaSalle 20.
As the second half got underway DeLaSalle started in a zone defense. They were able to make CDH make deep shots.
DeLaSalle passed the ball around the 3-point line and was able to get Taylor Toney and Patiance Griffin the ball. Both Toney and Griffin came up with mid-range jump shots and layups.
The score remained close throughout the second half.
CDH’s Elizabeth Edinger came up with mid-range jump shots to keep CDH in the game.
CDH called a timeout with 10:14 left in regulation. The score was tied at 41.

The score remained close late in regulation. Both team’s defenses stepped up and slowed the scoring down.
Toney came up with layups late in the contest. Her teammates did a good job of getting her the ball in spots where she get to the lane.
DeLaSalle came away with the 61-59 victory over CDH.
The leading scorers for DeLaSalle were Toney with 20 points, Griffin with 16 points and Haynes with 10 points.
The leading scorers for CDH were Salmen with 17 points, and Radford with 16 points.
