DeLaSalle’s Jarvis Johnson and Joshua Collins came up with huge mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half.
Kimberly did a good job of attacking the basket and getting everyone involved in the offense.
The defense made it difficult for each team to make uncontested shots.
At halftime the score was DeLaSalle 37, Kimberly 29.
Kimberley’s Austin Weyenberg came up with mid-range jump shots and layups. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball in spots where he could shoot it.
The score went back and forth throughout the second half.
DeLaSalle’s Gabe Kalscheur came up with clutch shots in the second half. He knew where to be on the floor and was able to get the ball in spots where he could shoot it.
Neither team was able to go on a run throughout the game. Both teams were very competitive.
The game came down to the wire. Kimble did a good job of attacking the basket and coming up with mid-range jump shots and layups.
Both teams were evenly match. Kimberly switched between man-to-man and zone defenses throughout the game.
Kimberly called a timeout with 2:36 left in regulation. The score was DeLaSalle 68, Kimberly 61.
Kimberly wasn’t able to get the lead in the game.
DeLaSalle came up with the 73-61 victory over Kimberly.
The leading scorer for Kimberly was Weyenberg with 22 points.
