FRIDLEY TOOK ON MINNEAPOLIS PATRICK HENRY IN A BOYS BASKETBALL GAME

Fridley and Minneapolis Patrick Henry went up against each other in a boys basketball game. Fridley looked to set the tempo early.
 
Fridley’s Michael Murray was all over the floor. On the offensive end Murray looked to shoot inside jump shots.
 
It took Fridley awhile to get into a shooting rhythm. They were rusty at the start of the game.
 
Henry’s Jovahn Jefferson made jump shots from inside the paint.
 
Fridley called a timeout with 12:37 left in the first half. The score was Henry 10, Fridley 2.
 
Fridley turned the ball over a few times and Henry was able to come up with layups.
 
Henry’s offense stalled for a period of time in the first half. Fridley used that to their advantage as they were able to come up some jump-shots.
 
Henry called a timeout with 10:21 left in the first half. The score was Henry 10, Fridley 6.
 
Fridley’s Hunnaan Kahn came up with some nice steals and was able to get layups on the offensive end.
 
The score was close throughout the first half. Fridley’s Tessy Pal was able to hit shots from the wing.
 
Henry called a timeout with 6:07 left in the first half. The score was Fridley 18, Henry 13.
 
The Fridley defense began to bother Henry late in the half. Fridley got hot as they moved the ball well and hit jump shots.
 
Fridley hit shots that they put up late in the first half. After a slow start offensively for Fridley they had a 31-17 lead at halftime.
 
Henry came out and attacked the basket to start the second half. They looked more organized on the offensive end as they passed the ball around with a purpose.
 
Fridley’s Darius Mulbah sank lay-ups in the second half as his teammates did a good job of feeding him the ball when he cut to the basket. The Henry defense couldn’t slow Mulbah down.
 
Both teams raced up and down the floor looking to make layups. Even though Henry had a difficult time hitting their shots they didn’t give up trying.
 
Murray came up with some nice blocks in the second half. He had good hops and was able to get up to the rim.
 
Fridley came away with the 69-41 victory over Henry.
 
The leading scorers for Fridley were Teesy Pal with 13 points, Chaney Pal with 12 points and Ismall with 10 points.
 
The leading scorer for Henry was Jefferson with 10 points.
