EDEN PRAIRIE WENT UP AGAINST PRIOR LAKE IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Eden Prairie and Prior Lake went up against each other in a boys’ basketball game. Prior Lake moved the ball down the floor and was able to make layups in transition. Prior Lake looked to get the ball into the hands of Dawson Garcia. Garcia made mid-range jump shots and layups. 

Eden Prairie pushed the ball down the field as they were able to get everyone involved in the offense. 

The defense that each team played made it difficult for the other team to come up with open looks at the basket. 

Prior Lake called a timeout with 11:18 left in the first half. The score was Eden Prairie 16, Prior Lake 12. 

Prior Lake’s Tyree Inhenacho came up with mid-range jump shots and layups throughout the half. He also came up with steals and was able to get to the basket and make layups. 

Prior Lake attacked the basket as they swung the ball around the 3-point line and looked for their shots. 

Eden Prairie kept the defensive pressure on Prior Lake as they made it difficult for them to come up with baskets. 

Prior Lake called a timeout with 5:22 left in the first half. The score was Eden Prairie 36, Prior Lake 24. 

The defensive pressure that Eden Prairie put on Prior Lake made it difficult for Prior Lake to make shots in the first half. 

At halftime, the score was Eden Prairie 40, Prior Lake 31. 

Prior Lake continued to look to move the ball down the floor and get the ball into the hands of Garcia. 

Eden Prairie continued to move the ball down the floor and came up with deep 3-point shots.

Prior Lake called a timeout with 14:15 left in regulation. The score was Eden Prairie 49, Prior Lake 31. 

Prior Lake struggled shooting the ball throughout the second half. Prior Lake kept on feeding Garcia who came up with mid-range jumpers and layups. 

Eden Prairie continued to make shots throughout the second half. They passed the ball around the 3-point line and were able to make mid-range jump shots and layups throughout the second half. 

Garcia came up with mid-range jump shots late in the game. Prior Lake kept on feeding Garcia who was camped out on the low block. Garcia also wasn’t afraid to shoot the deep 3-point shot. 

Prior Lake called a timeout with 6:17 left in regulation. The score was Eden Prairie 67, Prior Lake 45. 

Both teams went after loose balls and rebounds on both ends of the floor. Garcia kept on coming up with mid-range jump shots and layups. 

Both teams kept on attacking the basket late in the game. 

Eden Prairie was able to take Prior Lake out of the game as Prior Lake had a difficult time scoring and keeping up with Eden Prairie on the offensive end. 

Eden Prairie came away with the 79-58 victory over Prior Lake.
