On Dec. 29 Becker and Rocori squared off in a boys' basketball game. Rocori pushed the ball down the floor and got the ball into the hands of Alec Anderson. Anderson came up with mid-range jump shots and layups.
Rocori moved the ball down the floor well as they were able to make layups off of fast breaks. They also did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense.
Rocori’s Derek Thompson came up with mid-range jump shots and layups. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball in spots where he could shoot it.
Rocori called a timeout with 6:58 left in the first half. The score was Rocori 23, Becker 15.
Rocori’s Alec Anderson came up with mid-range jump shots and layups. His teammates got him the ball in spots where he could shoot it.
The Rocori defense slowed the Becker offense down. Becker struggled to shoot the ball late in the first half. Rocori noticed that and kept attacking the basket and came up with baskets.
At halftime the score was Rocori 40, Becker 25.
Rocori continued to push the ball down the floor and score baskets in transition. Rocori got the ball into the hands of Austin Overman and Thompson who both came up with huge baskets.
Becker continued to struggle to shoot the ball in the second half.
Rocori shot the ball better throughout. Becker struggled to shoot the ball.
Rocori came away with the 70-51 victory over Becker.
