Minnesota native Tyus Jones has been recalled by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Jones was sent to the D-League on December 5, 2015 and was assigned to the Idaho Stampede.
Jones who was drafted in the 2015 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the No. 24 pick and was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In order to get Jones, Cleveland acquired the draft rights to Minnesota 2015’s 31st pick Cedi Osman and the draft rights to Minnesota 2015 36th pick Rakeem Christmas, and a 2019 second-round pick.
Jones averaged 24.7 points per game in 6 games with the Stampede.
Jones graduated from Apple Valley High School in 2014 and then spent one year at Duke University winning the 2015 NCAA National Championship.
