On Nov. 13 TCF Bank was the site of the Prep Bowl. The state championship of the Minnesota State Football games. In the 9 Man game Underwood took on Grand Meadow.
Grand Meadow kicked off to start the game. Underwood started on their own 37-yard line.
Underwood fumbled the ball and Grand Meadow got the ball back.
Grand Meadow took over on the 48-yard line. They kept the ball on the ground on their first drive.
Grand Meadow moved the ball on the ground. Grand Meadow found the end zone on a 38-yard reception by Christopher Bain for a touchdown. The extra-point attempt was good.
With 7:56 left in the first quarter the score was Grand Meadow 7, Underwood 0.
Underwood also kept the ball on the ground. Underwood punted on 4th down.
Grand Meadow’s Michael Stejskal was all over the field. He was able to get his teammates the ball in places where they could make plays. On 4th-down they punted the ball.
Underwood took over on their own 35-yard line. Underwood looked to get the ball into the end zone late in the first quarter. They did that on a 15-yard run by Coy Thorson. The two-point conversion was no good.
With 1:16 left in the first quarter the score was Grand Meadow 7, Underwood 6.
Grand Meadow took over on their own 29-line.
After one quarter of play the score was Grand Meadow 7, Underwood 6.
Grand Meadow punted on 4th-down.
Underwood went to the air as Masloski found Dylan Kalenze for 21-yard touchdown reception. The two-point conversion run by Coy Thorson was good.
With 6:55 left in the second quarter the score was Underwood 14, Grand Meadow 7.
Grand Meadow took over on their own 33-yard line. Grand Meadow was intercepted by Dylan Kalenze.
Underwood was intercepted by Terrell Rieken. Grand Meadow took over on their own 39-yard line.
Bain found the end zone on a 41-yard touchdown reception. The extra-point attempt was good.
With 2:08 left in the second quarter the score was tied at 14.
Underwood got the ball back into the near midfield.
At halftime the score was tied at 14.
Underwood kicked off to start the third quarter. Grand Meadow kept the ball on the ground on their first drive of the quarter. On 4th-down they punted.
Underwood’s Maslokski came up with a 59-yard run for a first down. Underwood fumbled the ball and Grand Meadow came up with it.
Grand Meadow looked to march down the field and get into the end zone. The defense stepped up big and turned them over on downs.
Underwood took over on their own 36-yard line. Thorson came up with a huge run. Underwood looked to get into the end zone. They did just that on a 6-yard run by Dylan Kalenze for a touchdown.
The two-point conversion was not good.
With 2:56 left in the third quarter the score was Underwood 20, Grand Meadow 14.
Grand Meadow’s Myhre came up with a 10-yard touchdown run. The extra-point attempt was good.
With 50 seconds left in the third quarter the score was tied at 20 that was the score after three quarters of play.
Grand Meadow’s Stejskal came up with a touchdown on a Terrell Rieken 14-yard reception. The extra-point attempt was good.
With 3:52 left in the fourth quarter the score was Grand Meadow 28, Underwood 20.
Stejskal came up with a 71 yard touchdown run. The extra-point attempt was no good.
With 2:14 left in regulation the score was Grand Meadow 34, Underwood 20. That was the final of the game.
