Minneapolis Roosevelt and Minneapolis North squared off in a boys' basketball game on Dec. 18.
North got to the basket and was able to come up with layups and rebounds.
Roosevelt had trouble scoring in the first half.
North got everyone involved in the offense. North’s ODell Wilson IV came up with a slam dunk that got the crowd on their feet.
Roosevelt had a difficult time shooting the ball in the first half.
At halftime the score was North 41, Roosevelt 25.
As the second half got underway North continued to push the ball down the floor and get layups in transition.
North came up with layups and mid-range jump shots.
They were a lot quicker than Roosevelt. Roosevelt didn’t give up but they were a little slower than North.
North came away with the 71-50 victory over Roosevelt.
