MILWAUKEE WASHINGTON WENT UP AGAINST MINNEAPOLIS DELASALLE IN A BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME

Milwaukee Washington and Minneapolis DeLaSalle squared off against each other in a boys' basketball game.
 
The score went back and forth in the first half. Both teams looked to score baskets on fast-break layups.
 
The defense that both teams played made it hard for the other team get shots up.
 
Both teams took a lot of time off the clock in the first half.
 
At halftime the score was Milwaukee Washington 19, DeLaSalle 16.
 
As the second half got underway the score went back and forth. Both teams continued to take a lot of time off the clock.
 
Both teams traded baskets throughout a good portion of the second half.
 
The defensive pressure that both teams applied made it difficult for the other team to get shots.
 
There were several ties and lead changes throughout the second half.
 
Milwaukee Washington’s Te’Jon Lucas knocked down a deep 3-point shot to tie the game at 44 at the end of regulation.
 
The game went into overtime. In the overtime period both teams attacked the basket and looked to attack the basket and make layups.
 
DeLaSalle came away with the 56-48 victory over Milwaukee West.
