MILWAUKEE KING WENT UP AGAINST ST. PAUL JOHNSON IN A BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME

Milwaukee King and St. Paul Johnson squared off in a boys basketball game. King pushed the ball down the floor as they looked to score baskets in transition.

The score went back and forth early. It took a while for each team to figure out what the other team was doing on offense.

Johnson struggled to shoot the ball early. King did a good job of getting them out of a shooting rhythm.

King was able to force Johnson to turn the ball over and turn the turnovers into layups.

The defensive pressure that king applied made it hard for Johnson to hit shots.

At halftime the score was King 46, Johnson 29.

As the second half got underway Johnson looked to play with a lot more energy. Johnson cut into their deficit

Johnson’s Savion Benton was all over the floor. He stepped up and knocked down shots on the offensive end. On the defensive end he was able to slow down the guy he was guarding.

Johnson went to a zone defense and that made King pass the ball around the 3-point line and take 3-point shots.

King came away with the 73-65 victory over Johnson.
