MINNEAPOLIS NORTH WENT UP AGAINST BRAHAM IN THE CLASS A STATE FOOTBALL SEMIFINALS

Minneapolis North and Braham squared off against each other in the Class A state football semifinals at St. Cloud State University.
 
Braham kicked off to start the game. Minneapolis North started on their own 36-yard line.
 
Minneapolis North went to the air and Patrick Dempley came up with a 32-yard reception.
 
Minneapolis North was intercepted in the end zone. Braham took over on their own 20-yard line.
 
Braham’s Brian Larson came up with runs that moved the chains. On 4th-and-15 Braham punted the ball.
 
Minneapolis North took over on their own 34-yard line. Minneapolis North switched between running and passing plays. Minneapolis North quarterback Tyler Johnson came up with huge runs that lead to first downs. Minneapolis North’s Patrick Dempley came up with 10-yard touchdown run.
 
The two-point attempt was not good.
 
With 7:33 left in the first quarter the score was Minneapolis North 6, Braham 0.
 
Braham took over on their own 26-yard line. Braham’s Ryan Larson came up with a first down reception. Braham looked to put the ball in the air. They wanted to trick Minneapolis North on what they were doing. Braham found the end zone on a 53-yard touchdown reception by Ryan Riesing.
 
The two-point conversion was good.
 
With 5:34 left in the first quarter the score was Braham 8, Minneapolis North 6.
 
Minneapolis North started on their own 39-yard line. They looked to move the ball quickly down the field. Tyler Johnson was able to find his receivers.  Minneapolis North’s Kori Randle came up with a 33-yard touchdown run. The two-point conversion was good.
 
With 3:00 left in the first quarter the score was Minneapolis North 14, Braham 8.  
 
Braham went to the air again as John Larson came up with a 34-yard first down reception by Noah Bone.
 
After one quarter of play the score was Minneapolis North 14, Braham 8.
 
North’s Dempley came up with a 103-yard interception. The two-point conversion was good by Issac Johnson.
 
With 11:03 left in the second quarter the score was Minneapolis North 22, Braham 8.
 
Braham kept the ball on the ground on their next drive. Braham’s Ryan Larson came up with a first down reception.
 
Minneapolis North called a timeout with 9:45 left in the second quarter. The score was Minneapolis North 22, Braham 8.
 
The defensive pressure that Minneapolis North applied made it hard for Braham to do anything with the ball. Minneapolis North’s Azerick Rodgers came up with interception on the 1-yard line.
 
Minneapolis North took over on their own 1-yard line. Minneapolis North kept the ball on the ground. Tyler Johnson came up with a 68-yard run for a first down. Antwan Cobble came up with a 20-yard first down run. That set up a 1-yard touchdown run by Tyler Johnson. The two-point attempt was not good.
 
With 5:42 left in the second quarter the score was Minneapolis North 28, Braham 8.
 
Braham continued to look down field as they wanted to come up with big plays. Braham punted on 4th-and-8.
 
Minneapolis North took over on their own 44-yard line. Dempley kept the ball on the ground and ran for 25-yards and a first down. Tyler Johnson came up with a 14-yard touchdown run. The two point conversion was good.
 
With 3:34 left in the second quarter the score was Minneapolis North 36, Braham 8.
 
Braham fumbled the kick off and they fumbled the ball and Minneapolis North came up with the ball.
 
Minneapolis North’s Rodgers came up with a 42-yard touchdown reception. The extra-point attempt was no good.
 
With 3:11 left in the second quarter the score was Minneapolis North 42, Braham 8.
 
Braham took over on their own 43-yard line. Braham moved the ball down the field on the ground.
 
Braham looked to get into the end zone late in the second quarter.

On 4th-and-14 Braham went for it and was not able come up with a first down.

Minneapolis North kicked off to start the third quarter. The Minneapolis North defense stepped up big. On 4th-and-13 Braham punted the ball.
 
Minneapolis North looked to move the ball down the field. Minneapolis North’s Antwan Cobble came up with an 18-yard touchdown run. The extra point was no good.

Braham’s Ryan Larson came up with an 80-yard kick off reception, that resulted in a touchdown.

Minneapolis North couldn’t move the ball down the field and they punted on 4th-and-9.
 
Braham punted on 4th down and Tyler Johnson returned it for a 70-yard touchdown. The extra-point attempt was good.
 
With 5:11 left in the third quarter the score was Minneapolis North 55, Braham 16.  
 
Braham looked to get the ball into the end zone late in the third quarter.
 
Braham called a timeout with 4:27 left in the third quarter. The score was Minneapolis North 55, Braham 16.
 
Braham turned the ball over on downs. Minneapolis North took over on their own 34-yard line.
 
Minneapolis North was intercepted and Braham took over.
 
Braham couldn’t move the ball down the field. They went for it on 4th-and-10.

As the fourth quarter got underway Minneapolis North looked to go for on 4th down but they were not able to come up with first down.
 
Braham couldn’t move the ball down the field. They were able to move the ball down the field.
 
Braham found the end zone on a Jacob Lindgren on a 31-yard touchdown reception. The two-point conversion was good.
 
With 6:51 left in the fourth quarter the score was Minneapolis North 55, Braham 24.
 
Minneapolis North got on the board again with a 16-yard touchdown reception by Johnson to Dempley. The two-point conversion was no good.
 
With 3:41 left in the fourth quarter the score was Minneapolis North 61, Braham 24.
 
Ryan Larson came up with a 68-yard touchdown reception. The two-point conversion was no good.
 
With 3:23 left in the fourth quarter the score was Minneapolis North 61, Braham 30. That was the final of the game.
